MEET TINA O’CONNOR – BSc Psychology, Wife, Mom, Entrepreneur, Mentor,
Author of Be That Girl and Be That Mom.
Tina O’Connor graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Psychology, and immediately took a position as an Office Manager at a Wireless Company.
After 7 years, Tina traded the office for the excitement of running her own business, and bought her first liquor store in Calgary.
By the time the tally of kids was three, and the liquor stores was two, Tina was a full time ‘Mompreneur’, running the stores, the kids and the house. In search of a more relaxed lifestyle, O’Connor wrote an inspirational book, called ‘Be That Girl’, and changed the course of her own life.
Tina recently sold her liquor store business, got rid of her full time child care and is now enjoying the excitement of being a full time Mom, author and CEO of her publishing company Be That Books. Her company proudly donates 10% of all book proceeds to charity.
Tina’s premiere book ‘Be That Girl’, inspires women of every age to focus on their priorities, and gives real strategies to help women get whatever they want out of their lives. O’Connor’s second book, Be That Mom, is an instructional and inspirational book designed to help moms of any age relax and enjoy their time more. From communication to discipline to loving yourself, Be That Mom is a fun read that motivates moms to have a bit more fun (with and without their kids)!
Using her passion for organizing, inspiring and motivating, Tina plans to roll out several more “Be That” titles in her series, including Be That Kinky Girl, and Be That Millionaire.
